A Business Development Manager is a professional who is responsible for the growth of their department. In this position they must work with their sales team to develop mutually beneficial proposals, negotiate contract terms and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
**2. Specific Responsibilities**
- Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth
- Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
- Researching prospective accounts in target markets
- Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
- Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients
**3. Competencies**
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives., guides long-term objectives to meet business needs and requirements.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Communication Skills is key to acquire a bigger clientele list
- Strong business acumen, team player, results-oriented
- Ability to handle Time Management well.
