Brand Manager, Singapore and Indonesia

One of our core ambitions is to drive marketing excellence to propel our brands to growth, securing delivery of growth objectives, as we accelerate SEA in the Sports Nutrition Category. The Brand Manager will be responsible for supporting marketing needs in Singapore and Indonesia, ensuring brand consistency to bring the Optimum Nutrition brand to life in an impactful and compelling manner, tied to the brand guidelines and localised to meet the local consumer needs.
**Principal Accountabilities**
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop in partnership with SEA Marketing Director and the Country Manager, the Annual Brand Plans, aligned to the regional guidance
- Support new product launches and campaigns with impactful marketing activations focused on storytelling, paid and owned media, influencers, gym partnership, in-store activations and more in line with the budget, whilst adhering to the brand guidelines
- Identify, on-board, manage and leverage athletes and influencers to build relatable stories, enhancing consumer connection to the brand
- Lead social media management in-market to grow the follower base and drive engagement
- Work closely with gyms and event partners to drive brand visibility and presence at key moments winning an engaged audience.
- Partner the commercial team driving point of sale initiatives focusing on in-store branding, promotions and display optimization to influence purchase
- Ensure all campaigns are executed in a timely manner, working closely with agencies where relevant
Budget Management
- Manage the local marketing budget effectively, tracking expenses closely to ensure no overspend and adherence to allocated budgets
- Provide regular budget reports, reviewing actual spend against forecasts, and implementing controls to keep all activities within financial limits
- Adjust allocations as needed, ensuring resources are efficiently used to maximize ROI on campaigns and initiatives
Insights and Market Analysis
- Monitor competitor activities, including product launches, campaigns, pricing strategies, and market positioning. Provide actionable insights on competitive threats and opportunities, ensuring our brand remains relevant and differentiated.
- Support on new consumer research projects working closely with the regional Insights team.
- Analyse performance data from campaigns and activations to identify areas for improvement. Use insights to refine messaging, creative assets, and targeting strategies for higher engagement and conversion.
Monthly reporting
- Complete standard reporting templates for assigned categories, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
Others
- Handle ad hoc duties as required, including cross-functional collaboration to support broader organizational goals
**Key Challenges & Success Measures**
1. Strong brand planning, driven by strong consumer and market insights
2. Achievement of key marketing priorities, expanding the influencer/ athlete/ brand ambassador pool & brand partnerships, and improving brand awareness and category penetration in South Korea.
3. Successful and impactful 360deg campaigns and product launches with strong owned, paid and earned media coverage, strong digital activations, in-store support and ecommerce, bringing our brands to life in a strong and relevant manner
4. Clearly devised ecommerce strategy, garnering strong visibility with on-point consumer communications, attractive visuals and clear product demarcations to drive interest and purchase
5. Strong management of the marketing budget within agreed targets
6. Contribution to the financials - especially on Uplift in Net Sales across all channels
**Skills you will bring to the team**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Finance, Economics, or Commerce.
- Minimum of 6-7 years in consumer brand marketing, ideally within an MNC FMCG environment; experience in the sports, sports nutrition, or fitness industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Self-driven with a high sense of accountability and ownership.
- Excellent planning, time management, communication, and project management abilities.
- High-level problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, adaptable under pressure, and responsive in urgent situations.
