
Business Development Manager

We are consultant engineers based in Singapore. We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead marketing and business growth initiatives targeting the Indonesia market. Based in Singapore, this role will involve identifying new opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and developing tailored marketing strategies to expand our presence in Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Analysis and Strategy
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential opportunities, trends, and challenges in the Indonesia market.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with company goals.
- Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to maintain a competitive edge.
2. Business Development
- Identify and engage with potential partners, clients, and distributors in Indonesia.
- Negotiate contracts, partnerships, and business deals that align with the company’s objectives.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and executing new business opportunities.
3. Marketing and Branding
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop localized campaigns tailored for the Indonesia market.
- Leverage digital platforms, events, and other channels to promote brand awareness.
- Ensure marketing efforts comply with local cultural nuances and regulatory requirements.
4. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all Indonesia market-related inquiries.
- Provide regular updates and insights to internal teams on market feedback and performance.
5. Operational Coordination
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of plans.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
6. Reporting and Insights
- Prepare regular reports on business development and marketing activities, including key metrics and performance outcomes.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
**Requirements**:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or marketing in term of engineering consultancy services, with a strong focus on the Indonesia market.
**Skills**:
- Proven ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent understanding of Indonesia’s business and cultural landscape.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and strategies.
