**About HMT**:
HMT was founded in 1978 with the objective of providing better technology to the aboveground storage tank market. HMT’s founders created products which not only solved the emissions problems of the day but also eliminated the operational issues created by the existing floating roof and seal technologies.

**Position Overview**:
This is a leadership position in selling HMT products and services, through either direct or territorial representatives, to specific assigned area or product group. He or she is responsible and accountable for achieving regional revenue and profit goals as well as ensuring and maintaining good customer relations within the area of responsibility by becoming a techincal sales expert and a solutions focused contributor.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- **Sales activities**
- Achieve specification of HMT products for projects and facilities in the territory through continued customer focused support and education on market offerings.
- Generate proposals for HMT products through individual cost estimations, including equipment and supervision for individual maintenance and capital projects.
- Work with General Manager of Sales & Marketing and other Asia Pacific team members to create sales plans.
- Achieve revenue and EBITDA goals established for the territory.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM and Power BI systems, keeping data current to communicate intelligence effectively across the business and keep track of customer follow up tasks.
- **Project execution activities**:

- Review purchase orders for accuracy upon receipt, understanding both the technical and commercial risks throughout various territories in the APAC region.
- Hand off and support the Inside Sales / Project Management personnel to ensure smooth execution of projects with continued support for the customer.
- Assist Inside Sales / Project Management personnel to obtain necessary data from the client to execute project.
- **Agent-related activities**:

- Work with Reporting Manager to direct agent activities, including:

- Develop potential/target client list for each agent’s territory.
- Gather intelligence on client needs, pain points, needed areas of support in the territory.
- Gather market / competitive intelligence to identify best focal points to improve market share.
- Develop tactical sales plans for each major target client through technical understanding, problem solving, and product education of agents.
- Work with Reporting Manager to conduct review and feedback of each agent once per quarter.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Experience and/or exporsure in refinery or terminal operations in Asia Pacific.
- Strong technical aptitude and comfort level related to sales of technical products and project solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
- Exercises sound business and commercial judgment at all times.
- Strong follow up and organizational skills.
- Availability to travel regularly for sales activities and agent reviews/training meetings.
