We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Trading Floor IT Support.
- You will act as the first point of contact for all trading floor IT issues, aiming to resolve all desktop issues within one hour whilst delivering world-class customer satisfaction.
- Based on the Trading Floor, you will work closely with other areas of Group IT to ensure incidents are resolved as quickly as possible and escalate any problems that could affect multiple users across the bank.
- Provide first-line technical support to the trading floor, responding promptly to requests and issues.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and other market data products.
- Develop and maintain scripts using VBA and PowerShell to automate tasks and processes.
- Keep up to date with the latest technologies and suggest improvements to existing systems.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial sector.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components such as: Active Directory, Printers, scanners and other network devices, Mobile devices (iPad/iPhone) Cisco meeting room equipment using Webex and Teams
- Basic knowledge of Bloomberg, VBA, PowerShell scripting, Refinitiv, and other market data products.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
