**About the Department**:
Business Banking Modeling & Analytics is part of Group Wholesale Banking (GWB) and it is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring risk and marketing models for Small and Medium Enterprises. Specifically, the division is responsible for Basel credit models, scorecards, pre-campaign analyses, post-campaign evaluation, as well as portfolio analytics, management and reporting. The division is also responsible for supporting the associated risk and marketing datamart and related systems. Our mission is to drive decision making based on value analytics throughout the customer value chain.

**Responsibilities**:

- Partnerships:

- Curate diverse data sources to assess what information and data need to be common, collected and stored. Strive for adoption and implementation of industry standards where available and deploy a consistent data architecture to enable organized and intelligent data.
- Maintain & enhance our technical toolkit (models, dashboards and ad-hoc analyses) to serve business development, underwriting and portfolio monitoring analytics needs in the evolving digital environment.
- Identify and transform data-driven business opportunities/warnings into actionable analytics.
- Engage our business stakeholders to get buy-in for proposals and recommendations.
- Collaborate with both external and internal partners on change and integration management of our projects.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools and technologies in the digital arena.
- Credit Analytics:

- Optimize underwriting and customer/portfolio management policies through use of analytics and champion/challenger strategies.
- Group oversight. Analyse and monitor portfolio risk and capital reports, scorecard performance report and booking profiles. Provide regular and ad-hoc credit risk analyses and advisory to business managers, senior management, regulators and other key stakeholders.

**Job Requirements**:

- 8 years of experience in credit risk model development/validation, or similar analytic roles in a banking environment.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical model performance metrics in an easy-to-understand manner and tailoring them to different audiences
- Self-starter and able to navigate and thrive in an unstructured working environment with mínimal supervision.
- Astute business acumen and excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
- A good degree in Banking & Finance, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent
