**About the Department**:
The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive activities to ensure adherence to ORM, Compliance and BCM
- Lead risk and control self-assessment in setting the standard for review, and perform assurance reviews/ thematic testing on key risk in ORM and Compliance
- Produce regular risk reporting, and other risk and control reporting requirements
- Assist in risk and control awareness programme for GTB product managers, sales and enablers across the region.
- Ensure timely reporting/ escalation of risk events, incidents and management risk awareness issues
- Lead or participate in new programmes/ initiatives/ reviews contributing to risk, control and business continuity agenda
- Drive initiatives/ projects to enhance effectiveness and efficiencies of GTB
**Job Requirements**:
- At least 5 years of working experience working with a proven track record in business governance and control in banking industry - with strong focus in Operational Risk Management. Additional experience in Compliance and Business Continuity Management will be a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Possess a growth mindset, willing to learn and embrace new challenges.
