**Responsibilities**:
Established in 1986, UOB Asset management (UOBAM), a wholly-owned subsidiary of United Overseas Bank, is the Asian asset manager in the region with award-winning investment expertise across different asset classes. UOBAM is headquartered in Singapore and has an extensive presence in Asia with regional business and investment offices in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Brunei and Japan as well as a joint venture with Ping An in China. We invite dynamic and highly motived individuals with good qualifications to join our Risk team as a Risk Manager to make a difference.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform independent review and performance attribution and analysis of client portfolios across equity and fixed income asset classes, including validating and interpreting portfolio investment results
- Responsible for regular/ad-hoc and timely performance reporting to Investment and Business Development Teams
- Ensure UOBAM complies with reporting guidelines stipulated under GIPS.
- Work closely with Investment team and Business Development team in shaping the firm’s investment process and product development
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting of all portfolios’ performance, presenting and highlighting any areas of performance concerns to the Investment Committee, Senior Management and Board
- Involved in the improvement of any processes related to performance, including performance and attribution requirements for analysis and reporting, and data flow into performance systems
- Liaise with internal IT and data teams and vendor on report generation, systems and data issues
- Coordinate with the risk team members to produce a consolidated risk-return profile of our portfolios and communicate the information to our fund managers, to help them identify the strengths and weaknesses in their investment processes.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 - 8 years hands on working experience, preferably in the fund management industry as a performance and /or risk analytics analyst and/or data analyst
- Possess strong analytical and quantitative skills, a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel VBA programming capabilities preferred
- Must be able to process data accurately and efficiently with patience and persistence
- Possess the ability to kick-start and see-through process improvement initiatives so as to enhance work efficiency and productivity
- Be able to work well under pressure, tight time constraints and a good team player
- Good written and oral communication and presentation skills
- CFA/FRM/CIPM will be an added advantage
