Service Desk Technician

We have an exciting role available for a IT Service Desk Technician to join our team in Singapore. The Service Desk Technician will to provide 1st / 2nd line Service Desk support and administration across the Northrop Grumman Sperry Marines global infrastructure, with specific focus in our Asia regional offices. As an active member of the global Service Desk and IT teams, you will support the Northrop Grumman Sperry Marines client base, engaging and actively contributing to ensure internal customers have the capabilities to undertake their duties.
The role is a technical support role, and will be the sole position with our Asia regional offices, ensuring the company’s IT systems are monitored and maintained with minimum time taken to repair or replace. This support is vital to the ongoing operational efficiency of the company. You will be fully supported by colleagues in Canada and the UK and be expected to support global staff at times.

We're looking for an individual with strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems. Knowledge and skills required to be successful in the role includes;
- 1st and 2nd line, client facing support role
- Service Desk and call logging systems
- Microsoft Windows OS
- Windows Active Directory
- Microsoft Office
- Dell laptop and desktop hardware
- Microsoft Windows print servers, printers and peripherals
- User training as and when needed
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong self-management skills
- Good writing and communication skills in the English Language
- Be able to explain complex information in simple, clear terms to a non-IT personnel
- Self starter, able to take the initiative, however also a key team player
