**General Job Description (Hotel/ Lounge)**
- Greet, receive and bid farewell guests in the front reception counter.
- Thoroughly understand and adheres to proper credit, check
- cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures.
- Process guest check
- in and outs.
- Collect payment from guests, at the front reception counter before letting them enters the Hotel/ Lounge.
- Assist guests with their Hotel/Lounge Facilities.
- Uses proper telephone etiquette.
- Performs cashiering tasks like bill / invoice settlement, posting charges to the guest, foreign currency exchange etc.
- Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area.
- Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or superior.
- Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior and the management.
**Hotel**
- Assists in preregistration and blocking of rooms for reservations.
- Understands room status and room status tracking.
- Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates
- Knows the location and types of available rooms as well as the activities and services of the property.
- Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notification housekeeping of all check outs, late checkouts, early check-ins, special requests, and day use rooms.
- Works closely with the housekeeping department in the keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work.
**Lounge**
- Registered card members, Corporate cards before entering the lounge and explain each card entitlement.
- Arrange shower facility for guests.
- Assist in stock control of food and beverage
- Assist in setting up the beverage counters and replenishing food and beverages at food counters and refrigerators
- Assist team members and manager to ensure the efficient running of the day to day bar operation
- Carry out regular checks of all areas of the lounge, such as food counter, shower room, toilet, internet area magazine rack, to ensure cleanliness and tidiness at all times and the functionality of all facilities.
- Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior and the management.
**Requirements**:
- Graduate in Hospitality/ Tourism Management or related disciplines
- Relevant experiences in hospitality or catering is an advantage
- Outgoing, good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently and under pressure
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
