Responsible for the production of food order as directed by assigned supervisor, following set recipes to ensure a consistent and high quality of product. We support growth and creativity; explore your culinary passion through planning production and development of seasonal products.
**Fresh graduates with a basic working level of food production and safety are welcome to apply. On-the-job training is provided.**
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the hygienic and safe preparation of food
- Ensure that food items are prepared according to recipes
- Maintaining portion control and minimise wastage
- Tracking and maintaining of food stock levels within the kitchen and pantry areas according to production needs.
- Conducting checks on all food products received into the kitchen for standard and quality. Stored and rotate stocks hygienically and efficiently to ensure food safety.
- Ensure the safe use of all food preparation equipment, adhering to cleaning and maintenance schedule.
Ensure all work area and equipment are clean orderly, and report any issues to the assigned supervisor.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Possess at least basic understanding and proficiency in food prep and production. Specific on-the-job-training will be provided.
- Professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, afternoons and evenings
- Positive attitude and Good communication skills
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $2,000.00 - $2,600.00 per month
