Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for a detail-oriented Production Chef to join our culinary team. The Production Chef will be responsible for preparing bulk quantities of food items while maintaining consistency, quality, and efficiency in high-volume production.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food in large batches according to standard recipes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and portioning across all dishes.
- Assist in planning and organizing daily production schedules.
- Monitor stock levels, manage storage, and ensure proper food rotation.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in production areas.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet production deadlines.
- Minimize food wastage through efficient preparation and portioning.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of kitchen or production cooking experience.
- Strong knowledge of bulk cooking and portion control.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Food Safety & Hygiene Certification required or preferred.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
