- International MNC who is well known for Innovative solutions in regards to Sustainability and Decarbonization

My client is a **leading International name** in the **Renewables Industry** and is well known for their sustainability innovations across many industrial verticals. As a result of Business expansion in APAC, they are currently looking for a** Human Rights Expert** to be based in Singapore.

It's a newly created role within the core Sustainability team to take lead on Regional Human Rights issues in APAC. Purpose of the position is to manage the implementation of human rights due diligence and of human rights vision regionally. This role will ensure that the human rights of workers and communities in the Client's Supply Chains are respected and they follow the best practices covering Supplier engagement and Audits.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Degree in Sustainability, Law, Social Sciences, Political Sciences, International studies, Supply Chain Management or any related discipline
- **8-12 years **of relevant years of experience in **Human Rights and Social Responsibility **especially in **Human rights** work in **Supply chains in APAC region**:

- Knowledge and understanding of evaluating and educating suppliers on best practices and processes in regards to Human Right Issues
- Deep expertise and knowledge in **UN Guiding Principles** **on Business and Human Rights** and other leading human rights frameworks.
- Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
