
Manager / Assistant Manager, Human Resources

The role:
- Identifying and resolving gaps in HR workflows and policies through enhancing of existing/drafting of new workflows and policies including implementation and enforcement.
- Management of HR team including day-to-day administrative functions.
- Oversee and assist in both onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Oversee and assist in maintaining accurate employee records and administration, ensuring data confidentiality and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee and assist with staff and organizational development/training initiatives.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR-related matters.
- Oversee and assist in organizing and coordinating employee engagement activities and events.
Job requirements:
- Degree from a recognized university. Degrees or other qualifications in Human Resource, Business Administration, or any related fields are advantageous.
- At least 5 years of experience in a Human Resource role.
- Experience in managing 1 or more staff.
- Work experience that covers HR aspects of operational and executive staff in both big and small companies is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of HR practices, related laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Meticulous with an eye for details.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in QuickHR software will be an added advantage.
