WE ARE LOOKING FOR.....
An influential advisor who will provide expertise in HR Governance program management. You will play an integral role in developing and maintaining HR policies & procedures, and ensure these practices are compliant with organisation and legislative requirements. You will be expected to manage and build constructive relationships with the union, work with internal stakeholders, and coordinate employee relation activities and programs to build a positive and engaged work environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as lead HR advisor and liaison for HR Governance related matters, eg. risk, compliance and internal audit.
- Be the custodian of HR audit by working closely with the stakeholders (e.g. HR Operations & COE teams) to ensure the completeness of the audits.
- Be the country liaison with Group HR on HR governance and risk management, identify gaps and implement mitigation plans.
- Set direction, create policy and offer advice in all matters relating to the union, collective bargaining and industrial relations issues.
- Advise managers on employee relations, disciplinary and grievance procedures and other ER issues that may arise, including facilitating disciplinary/grievance proceedings.
- Investigate and resolve complex or critical industrial relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Collate and analyse employee feedback across all levels on a regular basis and recommend revision of people programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree with an acquired specialisation in HR preferably
- Specialist knowledge of employment legislation and HR policies, corporate governance and compliance.
- Engaging presentation skills and knowledge of project management methodology. Strong communication skills, experience of liaising with and influencing senior stakeholders.
- High learning and adaptability agility and strong attention to details.
- Able to work independently and in teams
- A solution-focused approach and be able to articulate complex concepts into practical solutions.
- Have relevant working experience in employee relations and working with the union, Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance functions with stakeholders at all levels.
