
Asean & South Pacific (Asp) Category Supply Chain

As a Category Supply Chain Manager, you will lead the system in designing, implementing and optimizing “fit-for-purpose” supply chain for a specific category for all ASP countries, ensure Supply Chain (SC) capability, flexibility, agility, resilience, supply assurance and the lowest cost leadership to support the category system long-term growth targets for NSR, profitability and end to end supply chain. Influence the System to create best in class System’s supply chain to deliver growth aspirations.
**What You’ll Do for Us**
- Provide strategic thought leadership, expertise, and best practices to the System to develop and manage “fit-for-purpose” supply chain within the specified category.
- Provide supply chain expertise to internal parties to influence business strategies and decisions.
- Lead Capability and infrastructure planning strategies for the category in partnership with Global/marketing category lead, SC Planning and Optimization manager.
- Ensure end to end supply chain capabilities (production, planning, distribution) are available at bottler’s facilities or in the co-packers. Analyze suitable alternative options, with pros and cons and clear recommendation.
- Lead improvements in supply chain design, metrics and performance standards for the said categories using research, supplier relationships, industry knowledge and best practices in order to secure benefits for the System, suppliers and/or the customers (e.g., cost saving projects, network optimization projects, new technologies and innovations and operational efficiencies (OE).
- Orchestrate innovation process for global big bets and regional innovation for the category. Drive new launches from an SME perspective by working collaboratively and networking with all the necessary functions while ensuring compliance with KO standards and policies/local regulation for the entire OU. The scope covers the entire end to end cycle from idea generation to launch in the marketplace to post launch market tracking vs success criteria.
- Import/Export successful practices and opportunities to ensure the said categories benefits from learning’s from across the TCCC world, while exporting relevant best practices to rest of TCCC.
- Collaborate with Technical Operations colleagues to drive supply chain delivery, specific to each local market & engage bottler/franchise partners.
- Arrange technical workshop/training programs to improve their capability. Provide support to trouble shooting of product formula related problems engaging help from R&D and relevant SMEs including suppliers.
- Provide support to the bottlers for implementation of new projects, Product/ Pack/new line /equipment/supply model.
- Drive S&OP process and agenda for above categories together with Supply planning and Optimization manager.
- Collaborate with Bottlers/Sales, Marketing, Planning and Procurement departments to increase forecast accuracy and reduce cost.
**Qualifications & Requirements**
- At least 8 years’ relevant experience in the supply chain field, ideally within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Work requires the identification and resolution of important operational problems requiring cross-functional collaboration and creativity to develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to collaborate across multifunctional and global teams. Skilled to communicate and influence up and across the total system organization, including bottlers.
- Technology and Digital tools skillset like Power BI, MS Project is an advantage.
**Key knowledge requirements**:
- Broad and in-depth Supply Chain Expertise. Specific knowledge of supply chain requirements
- Manufacturing Processing & technology: Specific knowledge of Manufacturing processes and requirements for specific category ownership.
- Business Acumen and Financial literacy - understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and main financial levers of liquid food business to maximize TCCC and System's Economic Profit
**Broad expertise in**:
- Strategy development
- Infrastructure and network development
- Engineering knowledge: knowledge of Equipment maintenance procedures & techniques to be able to evaluate associated cost & effectiveness.
- Production Processes: Knowledge and beverage manufacturing processes. These include blending solids, blending liquids or juices, filling, water treatment, packaging, cleaning and sanitation, or refrigeration technologies.
