We are currently recruiting for a Key Account Manager for our Independent Modern Trade channel, to be based in Singapore. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible to lead development and execution of key accounts strategy and activities. Partnering with channel sales head, trade marketing and marketing teams, the Key Account Manager will also ensure sustainable, predicative, profitable sales growth for the accounts in the channel.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute account strategy in line with company’s objectives and plans
- Achieve annual and quarter sales and profit targets
- Develop and implement effective and efficient promotions and business plans to achieve share and category growth
- Manage the partnership with customers to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
- Responsible for building an accurate forecast for the customers based on growth opportunities and promotions.
- Establish effective collaboration across functions like trade marketing, supply chain, finance etc to deliver business objectives.
- Optimize Trade-Marketing spends for assigned accounts, to improve the profit contribution of each account. Effective apportionment, phasing and control of trade support budget to deliver gross to net targets
- To ensure accurate sales forecasting with each account is achieved monthly and customer service levels KPIs are met
- Work with the merchandising team to ensure visibility and availability in the stores, execute displays and merchandising with speed and excellence.
- Gather market intelligence to understand competitive landscape and impact
- Plan, negotiate and execute new launches, campaigns, price increases etc

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 2-5 years in sales and key account management roles, ideally within the FMCG industry.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, able to manage internal and external stakeholders’ expectations.
- Attention to details with strong follow-up and negotiation capabilities
- Strong communication skills. Fluency in Mandarin is essential for collaborating and communicating with Mandarin-speaking customers.
- Analytical with strong financial acumen.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with others.
