Position Overview:

Managing the day-to-day outbound operations within the Regional DC (RDC) for the Singapore Logistics Hub (SLH), which includes managing the affiliate customer services for RDC, outbound related quality and compliance, inventory and stakeholder management.

In addition, this position will also support the SLH Operations Excellence in driving Excellence across the Regional DC (RDC) and Local DC (LDC) operations, in the areas of project management governance and execution, process excellence, performance management and data analytics. This position will work very closely with the Operations teams and Supply Chain stakeholders in driving the project portfolio success. He/ She will report to the RDC Operations Manager base in Singapore.


Key responsibilities

With expertise in End-to-End Supply Chain process improvement, this individual will lead the Regional Planning Team and proactively coordinate cross-functional resources required for THREE major areas:


1. RDC Outbound Management

  • To Provide timely outbound delivery to 3PL to facilitate Goods Issue.
  • Communication to RPT for not available items during outbound delivery creation.
  • Manage exceptions related to outbound delivery execution at 3PL, as per agreed procedure and approvals.
  • Data validation and recording of all the Outbound NCRs raised by 3PL.
  • Preparation and circulation of outbound related dashboard as per agreed timelines.
  • Follow-up for timely closure of open STO Lines.
  • Backorder management: open requirement which cannot be serviced during delivery creation, will fall under backorder processing. Outbound analyst to manage Backorder processing as per defined procedure.
  • Communication related to backorder management and outbound processing to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prioritization and scheduling of outbound deliveries for optimized order to border lead time for affiliates.
  • Stop-shipment coordination for traceability and various analysis.
  • Provide back up support for RDC Outbound Analyst and complaints management.

2. Deliver Excellence

a. Project Management Governance and Execution

- Support the implementation of strategic initiatives within the SLH operations in an end-to-end project management capacity.

  • Responsible for maintaining, and updating project plans, ensuring that all milestones and tasks are being adhered to ultimately leading to successful implementation.
  • Ensure appropriate communication plans and channels are effective & efficient between all levels of the programs, project teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and ensure all risks are being managed and communicated transparently in a timely manner so that appropriate escalation can take place when required.
  • Incorporate FPX (or project management) methodologies to drive flawless execution.
  • Support analysis/assessments to identify improvement opportunities and quantify benefits.

b. Process Excellence

- Represent SLH operations in process-related discussions (e.g. audits, projects).

  • Support in project testing efforts which require system test phases as part of the project charter and lifecycle, whenever required.
  • Proactively find collaboration opportunities across the RDC. LDC and affiliate J&J teams to drive continuous improvement and build capabilities for intercompany and deliver operations processes.

c. Results and Measures

- Drive team efforts in the preparation and facilitation of the RDC S&OP forum and other performance review forums such as the Operations QBR, for the SLH operations, from data and results preparation to the coordination and facilitation of the meeting with relevant stakeholders.

  • Drive data analytics from performance results that provide visibility to the SLH team on understanding current performance achievements and gaps, and work with KPI owners on improvement actions that are aligned to targets.
  • Support analysis/assessments to the business, to identify improvement opportunities and quantify benefits.

3. Authorities

- SAP access to support outbound management and data analytics

  • Software access to support data analytics


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or supply chain
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Strategic Operations or Project Management.
  • Familiar with SAP
  • Good understanding of the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Strong influencing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the company in English.
  • Project management experience, with experience in managing projects / programs.
  • Functioning knowledge of quality/compliance, supply chain, operations, and logistics.
  • Analytical and process oriented, with strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills & attention to detail.
  • Proven experience with data analytics to identify insights.
  • Results oriented and able to independently create and deliver; self-starter / entrepreneurial.
  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik preferred
  • Green Belt six-sigma / Black Belt preferred.
