Your Job As the Leader of Operational Excellence, you will support building a culture of Operational Excellence within plants and divisions, accelerating transformation to create superior value. You will collaborate between divisions to promote knowledge sharing and foster a unified Molex mindset. Additionally, you will promote and enhance the Operational Excellence culture within plants by building a Breakthrough Management mindset on the sustainable foundations of Daily & Value Stream Management systems. You will also create and maintain a divisional Operational Excellence Vision in line with the Global Operational Excellence Vision.Our Team In this role, you will work within the DSS division, reporting directly to the Director of Operations Strategy. You will closely interact with the Global OE Team, MES Tech Team, Digital Partners at Div/Plant levels, Divisional Op Ex leaders, Plant/Site Op Ex teams, PD Team, GSOPE Team, and Plant Leaders. You will also mentor Site Operational Excellence Leads to support talent development programs and align divisional strategies with site-level strategies.What You Will Do Support building the culture of Operational Excellence within plants/division and accelerate transformation to create superior value. Collaborate between divisions to promote knowledge sharing and foster a unified Molex mindset. Promote and enhance the Operational Excellence culture within plants by building a Breakthrough Management mindset on the sustainable foundations of Daily & Value Stream Management systems. Create and maintain divisional Operational Excellence Vision in line with Global Operational Excellence Vision. Govern and encourage operations knowledge and best practice sharing across divisions. Lead and support strategic GOC projects at target plants in the Division. Mentor Site Operational Excellence Leads to support talent development programs. Cascade divisional strategy to align with site-level strategy and monitor monthly. Identify strategic opportunities across the division and coordinate with GOC to develop scalable solutions. May require traveling up to 30% yearly for business. Perform other duties as assigned by Management. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Science, or Operations Management. 10 years of progressive career track in Operations/Manufacturing with management experience. Business acumen and sound judgment to make or support good decisions. Analytical skills to put issues/problems in the right context. Fluent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in Business English. Fluent in Mandarin, as this position requires close collaboration with Chinese associates. Organization skills to plan and follow through on multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong foundation in Operations, Quality, and Continuous Improvement Management. Commitment to get the job done on time with high quality and integrity. Open-mindedness and maturity to relate to different people across all functional areas. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power Point. Some travel and flexibility with working hours to accommodate global team members. What Will Put You Ahead Project Management or Lean Six Sigma – Black Belt/Strategic Management certification. Experience with large global manufacturing companies in the electronics industry. Experience with manufacturing processes, quality, product development, asset management, and utilization analysis at plant, division/regional, and global locations. Global mindset. Basic understanding of engineering, manufacturing, and the electronics industry. Advanced skills in BW, SAP, RPM, and more advanced skills in Excel, Word, and Power Point, including data analytics and dashboarding capability. At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
