Job Summary

The Assistant Manager will collaborate with a team of Senior/Executives to support HR operations, including recruitment of corporate staff, data management, and appointment confirmation. This role involves ensuring the delivery of Service Level Agreements and contributing to process improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities Service Delivery
  • Supervise daily recruitment operations for corporate staff hiring
  • Manage recruitment processes for assigned Colleges/Schools/Departments/Research Institutes
  • E nsure smooth contract management
  • Identify areas for improvement in recruitment process efficiency
  • Verify data accuracy by team members, including new hire entries, one-time payments, and costing allocations
  • Oversee the processing of confirmation or extension of probation for corporate staff within the University
Operational Excellence
  • Meet SLA targets for the team, ensuring customer needs and expectations are met (within resource constraints)
  • Collaborate with the HR Lead (Research and Management & Support) to contribute ideas and feedback on streamlining HR processes and improving standardisation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field (e.g., Human Resources)
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in an HR environment with supervisory skills
  • Familiarity with the Employment Act and Labour laws of Singapore
  • Ability to handle/review high volumes of transactions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of Workday is advantageous
