Restaurant Captain Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Captain to lead our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. This role combines operational leadership with modern marketing initiatives to drive customer engagement and brand presence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in F&B service, with experience in supervising daily operations and leading teams to deliver high-quality service. They will also be familiar with digital marketing tools and able to create engaging content to showcase promotions and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth floor management and compliance with service standards.
- Greet and interact with guests to deliver personalized service and resolve complaints promptly.
- Oversee table assignments, reservations, and service flow to maximize efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in line with regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership & Training:
- Train and mentor new hires on service protocols, menu knowledge, and customer interaction.
- Conduct regular refresher training to ensure consistent performance across the team.
- Motivate staff to achieve service excellence and foster a positive work environment.
Customer Experience & Relationship Management:
- Anticipate customer needs and preferences to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Manage special requests, VIP guests, and large bookings with attention to detail.
- Collect and analyze guest feedback to suggest service improvements.
Digital Marketing & Brand Engagement:
- Manage and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media and email.
- Create engaging content to showcase promotions, events, and customer experiences.
- Coordinate with management on online advertising and seasonal campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance and customer engagement metrics.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in F&B service, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service, and team leadership.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and basic analytics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, lead under pressure, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
