Our leading Cloud Security client is looking for a Senior Customer Advocacy Manager APJ to be responsible for managing the pipeline and creation of customer stories, helping drive the expansion of their centralized customer advocacy platform, and scaling out the content creation engines to elevate the volume and visibility of their raving fans in the market. You will be instrumental in bringing the “voice of the customer” to life at one of the fastest growing cloud security companies.
The Senior Customer Advocacy Manager collaborates closely with the Sales, Comms, Customer Success, Global Marketing, Sales Enablement and Product Marketing to identify strong customer champions to capture their success and turn them into a compelling story in order to amplify the customers’ voice in the marketplace, specifically in the APJ region. This role supports the creation of world-class customer evidence materials and opportunities, assisting the sales team throughout the sales cycle and fostering an interconnected customer experience.
Responsibilities/What You’ll Do:
Partner with customer champions to capture their success story via case studies, video testimonials, press releases, media and analyst activities and blogs
Build and execute the customer’s advocacy program in the Americas to drive community, success and advocacy within our existing customer base
Surface valuable customer insights: Track, maintain and report on all customer advocacy team tools, information, and assets. Make these insights visible and actionable for the rest of the organization
Work closely with the Sales and customer-facing teams to cultivate a pipeline of customers that align to our key focus areas for reference activities to support sales and marketing
Reinforce the company relationship with customers post-close by creating premium brand experiences for customers and drive future revenue
Onboard new customer champions to learn their compelling story and help them understand the value of being a part of our advocacy program
Rollout global customer advocacy database and maintain it
Support to various customer engagement projects and programs
Qualifications
Preferred 10 to 20 years of relevant work experience – advocacy, marketing, customer success, program management, public relations
BA required
Experience with Reference View/Upland RO a plus
Cloud Security industry experience is required
Deep understanding of the sales cycle process
Willingness to travel up to 10%
Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships with internal stakeholders, influence others to achieve results, and work effectively with cross-functional teams
Excellent prioritization and project management skills with a high degree of conscientiousness and eye for detail
Focused on driving outcomes
