We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Director to join our team. The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for leading and driving sales efforts within their designated region, cultivating new business opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners.Who is this growth company?We are TP Aerospace A fast-growing and dynamic company operating in the aviation industry. With headquarters in Copenhagen and ten sites spanning from Orlando to Melbourne, we operate in a highly global environment where things are moving fastThe Regional Sales Director holds the overall responsibility for aftermarket sales of wheel and brake components (COM), as well as factory new piece parts (DIS). The Regional Sales Director is responsible for cultivating and generating new business in APAC with a special focus on deriving COM and DIS sales through an expanding customer base. The Regional Sales Director is also responsible for creating leads to the Programs Division (PRO) and for sourcing USM material to COM throughout the APAC territories. The Regional Sales Director will lead the APAC sales team and will be reporting to the Global Sales Director. The ideal candidate will have a large and diverse network in the airline and MRO aftermarket segment and managerial experience. The Regional Sales Director is expected to travel 60+ days a year to cultivate new business, cater for existing contracts and customer relations, and participate in relevant exhibitions and shows.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperationalLead day-to-day regional sales of COM and DIS product lines, meet sales targets, and ensure high margins.Report on a bi-weekly basis to the Global Sales Director on the development in the region and sales trends.Sales forecasting and budgeting for COM and DIS in APAC.Champion new business, increase TP Aerospace’s customer base in the airline and MRO segment for wheels and brakes.Generate incremental business with new and existing customers and increase TP Aerospace “Share of Wallet” in the wheels and brake aftermarket.Source relevant USM material from airlines and MROs to satisfy internal demand from TP Aerospace Tech Shops and COM business.Grow DIS, which is the latest vertical in TP Aerospace.Monitor regional component acquisitions to ensure COM sales and balance targets.Monitor regional DIS stock levels, PN mix, and processes to ensure DIS sales and customer delivery expectations.Ensure compliance with all sales-related processes, procedures, and tasks regionally.Ensure maximized COM sales prices compared to market levels and availability, in alignment with USM Sourcing.Ensure the right DIS margins are applied to the DIS sales prices.Ensure regular reporting and communication to the Global Sales Director of the region’s COM and DIS sales performance.Ensure the sales organization is sized to budget expectations.Ensure the sales commission schemes are implemented and followed regionally.Take the lead and ensure the regional Master Customer Sales Map is always updated.Participate in company fairs and exhibitions as required and work with Marketing and the Global Sales Director to define the strategy relevant for the fairs and exhibitions.Monitor and report on the activity of competitors and identify business opportunities and threats.Strategy & DevelopmentDevelop, implement, and execute regional sales strategy aligned with budget and overall company goals.Assess and align sales strategy and processes to increase market share in existing markets by identifying growth opportunities.Assess and align sales strategy and processes to increase efficiency, win chances, and enable increased transparency on sales performance.Maintain and update regional pipeline, customer information, and weighted potential.Assist and develop incremental sales and go-to-market strategies with the Global Sales Director.Seek and win long-term agreements and support contracts on DIS piece parts.People ManagementRegular communication and alignment meetings with the regional APAC sales team to follow up on sales performance and procedures.Visit each regional headquarters on an ongoing basis to support continuous alignment with regional sales teams.Lead, motivate, and develop employees within your team.Ensure that all sales staff are continuously trained to improve sales results. Delegate and assign tasks as needed.Consistently promote high standards and healthy communication within the assigned area of responsibility through personal example and ongoing communication with the teams.Liaise with Human Resources on human resource requirements in short- and long-term perspectives.Enable proper onboarding and training of sales staff.General management duties for direct reports, including but not limited to performance reviews, salary negotiations, vacation planning, etc.We are seeking a team member that can identify with below:Holds a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.+3 years of managerial experience.+7 years of experience in aviation – ideally rotables and USM.Possesses an extensive network within Airlines and MROs in APAC.Proficient in component exchange and the distribution of new parts.Skilled in sourcing used components from airlines.Drives lead generation for W&B to support operations in our APAC shops.Maintains and nurtures the pipeline while generating leads for the PRO division.Demonstrates a structured approach and provides comprehensive reports to Global Sales Director on pipeline status and customer heat map development.Experience with Quality Control is advantageous.Demonstrates a robust and motivating commitment to growth.Exhibits autonomy alongside adept interpersonal abilities.Possesses a structured approach with meticulous attention to detail.Displays exceptional leadership and communication prowess.Proficient in project management, ensuring tasks are executed seamlessly.Capable of prioritizing, organizing, and strategizing tasks proficiently.Demonstrates superb problem-solving skills.Displays strong intercultural competence, fostering effective communication across diverse environments.A Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident.How does team spirit and professional development sound?We offer a highly dynamic and international work environment with colleagues all over the world.
