The ideal candidate will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of the clients' business objectives and challenges and creating strategic recommendations based on this understanding. You will do so by building a strong relationship with our clients and analyzing our clients' data. Essentially, you will act as the main point of contact for our clients.
Responsibilities
Dialogue with our clients to understand their business objectives and challenges. Prospect new commodity customer relationships and manage the existing portfolio. The usual duties of a relationship manager include account opening, credit proposal/reviews, KYC and review, post-lending management, cross-selling, system handling, and document management, providing customers with a full range of financial products and services tailored to their needs.
Analyze clients' data and provide strategic recommendations. Design and structure financial solutions for the customers, and provide specialist opinions for the branch's commodity customers from a product perspective.
Present value propositions to sales leads and current customers.
Prospect for new sales leads and close sales.
Other jobs assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications
4-6 years of client relationship experience in banking as a trade finance or corporate lending relationship manager.
Professionalism: Familiar with commodity financing.
Ability to manage multiple projects and clients.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Sound written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese to communicate with Chinese-speaking customers and stakeholders.
