What you will be working on:
Team Nila is a National Movement to inspire the Singapore Spirit and transform Singapore through Sport. Comprehensive strategic plans need to be developed in order to engage, enrich and empower Team Nila effectively to be the positive driving force in the community. This role is focused primarily on volunteer marketing, with occasional responsibilities in volunteer training.
Volunteer Marketing:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to attract and engage volunteers.
Create and manage content for various platforms, including social media, monthly email newsletters, and the Team Nila’s website.
Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, events, and initiatives to promote volunteer opportunities.
Collaborate with the Brand & Marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
Analyze marketing data and metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and inform future strategies.
Foster relationships with community partners and organizations to enhance volunteer outreach efforts.
Design promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and online graphics.
Manage volunteer databases and track engagement metrics.
Volunteer Training (Occasional):
Assist in developing and delivering training programs for new and existing volunteers.
Coordinate and facilitate volunteer orientation sessions and workshops.
Provide support and resources to volunteers to enhance their skills and experience.
Collaborate with other divisions and event partners to identify training needs and develop relevant content.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with various departments to align volunteer marketing efforts with organizational goals and initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with community partners, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to expand the volunteer base and training opportunities.
Represent the organization at events and networking opportunities to promote volunteerism and training programs.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinking and ability to develop engaging marketing content.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for volunteerism and community engagement.
Experience in volunteer management or training.
Proficiency with marketing tools and software (e.g., Canvas social media management platforms) preferred.
Knowledge of CRM systems and database management will be an advantage.
The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2/3-year contract in the first instance. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
