About the role
You manage a team of Service Injury (SI) Administrators to oversee the management and processing of injury claims from service personnel, ensuring service quality aligns with the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
What you will be working on
Manage and process injury claims
Ensure strict adherence to SLAs throughout the filing process
Verify injury reports and facilitate claim approvals within timelines
Handle appeals and complaints, working closely with policy and legal departments
Prepare cases for the Compensation Board when necessary
Monitor injury trends and produce management reports for respective Services
Continuously review processes to improve administrative efficiency
Analyse individual injury cases and apply relevant policies
Articulate policies and decisions clearly to servicemen and/or their Next of Kins (NOKs)
Challenge(s)
Analysing complex injury cases and applying appropriate policies
Maintaining situational awareness when engaging with servicemen/NOKs
Balancing efficiency with accuracy in claims processing
Identifying and managing potential legal risks
What we are looking for
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to make sound judgements on potential legal implications
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
