Your duties will include: Leading and managing the kitchen team, including hiring, training, and scheduling. Developing new menus and recipes that reflect authentic Japanese culinary traditions while adapting to local tastes. Maintaining strict quality control standards for all dishes, from ingredient selection to final presentation. Managing inventory, controlling costs, and minimizing waste to optimize kitchen profitability. Ensuring the kitchen adheres to all food safety and hygiene regulations. Collaborating with the restaurant manager to improve overall dining experience and address customer feedback. Maintaining a positive and professional work environment. Requirements: Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior leadership role in a Japanese restaurant. Extensive knowledge of authentic Japanese cooking techniques, including sushi, tempura, sashimi, and other traditional dishes . A strong passion for Japanese cuisine and a deep understanding of its culinary philosophy. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a diverse team. Relevant culinary certifications are a plus.
