Restaurant Manager Job Description
We are seeking a passionate hospitality professional to join our team as Restaurant Captain.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to oversee all aspects of the restaurant for its smooth operation on a daily basis.
The Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all staff members to ensure they provide high-quality service to customers.
- Oversee the associated activities for the smooth running of the restaurant during each shift.
- Train new employees based on their abilities and skills to ensure quality customer service is provided at the restaurant.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Inspect the food and beverage stock level and ensure that stocks are replenished and ordered in a timely manner.
- Conduct inspections of the restaurant and ensure that proper hygiene is maintained.
- Ensure that customers receive high-quality service and correct orders.
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner and provide service recovery as needed.
- Prepare daily reports and present them to higher management.
- Manage outstanding bills and cash inflows of the restaurant.
- Closely monitor and manage the restaurant's finances, ensuring that costs are kept under control.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Food and Beverage Services or an equivalent professional qualification in a related field.
- 3-5 years' experience, preferably in the hospitality or food & beverage industry.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Able to handle matters independently and in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires a driven individual who can lead by example and motivate their team to deliver exceptional results. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality customer service and be committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
