Company Introduction Payer Max is the world’s leading omni-method global payment solution, with over 530+ payment methods over 80 continents focused on empowering the #borderlessgrowth of the world’s top-grossing digital merchants in developing markets. Over the years, Payer Max has covered local mainstream payment methods in emerging markets such as Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East and Latin America, etc. We have also set up local offices to gain insights into local government and taxation laws and policies, and escort companies in compliance while expanding their business overseas. Team Introduction The Global Partnership team of Payermax provides payment channel solutions – which includes acquiring channel/bank partners to support payment collections, disbursements, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, reconciliation, and so on to ensure that our merchants/customers have a smooth and secure payment experience on via Payermax platform. Responsibilities This role is responsible for developing and managing strategic global and regional channel/bank partnerships to achieve best-in-class payment solutions and acquiring potential partners in the fintech space to drive the company’s revenue. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the payments industry, excellent relationship management skills, and a proven track record of driving results through strategic collaborations. Build and maintain strong relationships with key global and regional partners, ensuring continuous alignment and collaboration; Identify and evaluate potential strategic partners to enhance global payment capabilities; Develop and execute partnership strategies that align with the company’s objectives and growth plans; Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes; Monitor and analyse payment performance metrics to ensure optimal outcomes; Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Product, Legal, Finance, Compliance) to integrate channel/bank partner solutions and enhance payment processes; Acquire key partners in the fintech space to leverage the network and capabilities from each other Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape in the global payments space; Conducting market research to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats to the business; Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on market analysis and partner feedback; Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus 3-5 years of experience in partnership management and development, or strategic roles within the international payments industry Solid understanding of internal/external operation of cross-border payment business particularly in emerging markets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Very fluent in both English and Chinese (Presenting, reading and writing) to work with Mandarin-speaking clients from Greater China Region. Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions Proven ability to manage multiple partnerships and projects simultaneously Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset Knowledge of global payment systems, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices Strong negotiation and contract management skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
