We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Assistant, Dayward
About the Role:
The primary objective of this position is to provide exceptional patient care and support in a hospital setting.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure patients receive high-quality care by providing orientation, assisting with daily tasks, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Collaborate with nurses to discharge patients safely and effectively.
- Perform vital sign monitoring and record measurements accurately.
- Transport patients safely and assist with transfers as needed.
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages while promoting hydration and nutrition.
- Maintain accurate records of patient intake and output.
- Change bed linen and patient clothing regularly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of GCE N/O/A Level or NITEC/Higher NITEC equivalent.
- A recognized Certificate in Healthcare (Inpatient) WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
