Sales Director (ASEAN)Job Overview
TheSales Director (ASEAN)is responsible for developing sales strategies, leading the sales team, and driving business growth in the region. Reporting to theVP of Sales in Asia , you will identify customer needs, create tailored solutions, and negotiate deals to maximize profits and build long-term relationships. This role also involves working closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and driving process improvements to achieve revenue goals.Key Responsibilities
Be a key member of theregional sales management teamand collaborate with other regional leaders.
Provide market insights and customer feedback to help shape company strategy.
Lead by example, guiding and mentoring the sales team to align with company goals and culture.
Bring all stakeholders together to focus on business objectives and empower teams to make informed decisions.
Expand sales coverage by building teams for key accounts, industry verticals, and regional territories.
Use strategic partnerships to strengthen the brand and accelerate growth.
Set and managesales plans, budgets, and goalsfor the sales organization.
Establish sales performance metrics and monitor key performance indicators.
Work with theVP of Salesto set quotas and design incentive programs for the sales team.
Analyze sales results and take corrective actions if needed to meet sales goals.
Ensure excellentcustomer service , support sales teams with major accounts, and resolve any client issues.
Collaborate withEngineering, Marketing, Finance, and Operationsto ensure smooth product delivery and customer satisfaction.
Monitor competitor activities and provide updates to the management team.
Develop a deep understanding of the company's products, services, and target markets.Skills & Qualifications
Amotivated, action-oriented leaderwho can drive the sales team to success.
Strong leadership anddeal-closing skillswith a focus on value selling.
Proven experience in managing large accounts and building strategic alliances.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a changing environment.
Excellentorganizational skillsand attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to apply creative solutions to complex problems.
Extensive experience inindustrial sales.Education & Experience
10-12 yearsof experience in leading sales teams, with at least5 years at the Director level.
Experience managing a$50 M+ business.
MBAis strongly preferred.
Experience working inmultinational companiesis a plus.
