How You Will Do
To develop customized technology license packages, including engineering services and catalysts supply, for licensees constructing production plants using company technologies.
To build and maintain long-term relationships with industry partners (licensees, engineering partners, vendors) to enhance business on a global scale.
To collect, monitor, analyze and share competitive intelligence to gain competitive advantage for the company.
To represent company in industry associations, conferences, trade shows, customer events etc. through presenting technical and/or industry-relevant topics and networking.
To collaborate with other business units including Catalysts, Engineering, Intellectual Property and Global Intermediates Technology to present company's package offerings to the licensees.
To negotiate technology license contracts (TLCs) and ancillary agreements required to conclude licensing deals. Negotiations involve both technical and commercial aspects (e.g. license fee).
To take on special projects/initiatives as required.
Job Characteristics:
Technical Marketing (chemicals production technology, engineering services knowhow).
Customers are international/national chemical companies.
Business development & project management from initial licensing interest to negotiations to monetization.
Customer focused.
Thrive in innovative and technology focused environment.
Work with a global strategic framework & global team.
What We Look For
Minimum bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or other related field.
Experience in engineering service, preferably in petrochemical or chemical plants.
Experience in technical marketing and sales; advanced negotiation skills preferred.
Knowledge related to the engineering and design (pre-FEED, FEED, Detailed Engineering) of chemical plants.
