Job Responsibilities:
Carry out the full spectrum of corporate secretarial function and listing compliance duties
Preparation for, conduct of, and recording of board and shareholder meetings
Provide corporate secretarial advice to business units, management and board as needed
Liaise effectively with board and shareholders on board and shareholder matters, and execution of mandates
Observe adherence to established policies and procedures to ensure a strong corporate structure
Introduce and implement best practices in governance and all other aspects of corporate secretarial function
Maintain and ensure timely completion of corporate actions and other processes essential to ensuring statutory compliance in relevant jurisdictions
Participate in new initiatives and ad-hoc projects
Actively participate in the development of the quality management system and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of departmental procedures.
Requirements:
Qualified as a Chartered Secretary
Minimum 6 years of corporate secretarial experience for Assistant Manager level and 8 years for Manager level
Knowledge of company law, and practical knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory framework governing any stock exchange is an advantage
Good organisation and time management skills
Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
Excellent English language skills – written and verbal
