Flavour Innovation Leader: Southeast Asia

Job Description:

This is a high-profile, creative role based in Singapore where you will be at the forefront of beverage flavour innovation for the Southeast Asian market.

  • Develop unique flavour profiles and match competitor products with the analytical department's support.
  • Modify and perfect existing flavour recipes to meet specific customer, technological, or legal requirements.
  • Manage key internal and customer-led projects, driving innovation from concept to completion.
  • Conduct organoleptic evaluations of new raw materials and flavour creations.
  • Collaborate with sales teams on customer visits and presentations, providing expert technical support.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from lab to factory by supporting the initial production of new flavours.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of successful experience as a Flavourist, with a sustained history of new project wins.
  • Specialized experience in creating beverage flavours for the Southeast Asian market is highly preferred.
  • A University Degree or Advanced Diploma in food science, chemistry, or a related field is required.
  • Knowledge of flavour and food regulations in various countries.
  • Deep understanding of raw materials, ingredient costing, functionality, and stability.
  • Proficiency in organoleptic evaluation techniques and an advanced understanding of analytical methods (GC, HPLC, MS).
  • Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia to support sales and customer projects.
