Flavour Sample Coordinator Job Overview:

The flavour sample coordinator is responsible for assisting the flavourist in accurately mixing flavour samples within deadlines, ensuring samples meet quality control standards.

  • Maintain and manage a comprehensive sweet flavour and ingredient library
  • Support the technical team during sensory tests by providing expert analysis and recommendations
  • Track and maintain lab supplies such as glass bottles and raw materials to ensure seamless operations
  • Operate, maintain, calibrate, and clean lab equipment and work areas to prevent contamination and optimize results
  • Store raw materials at correct temperatures to maintain quality and shelf life
  • Perform standard lab tests and record accurate results in a timely manner
  • Ensure a safe and clean lab environment at all times by adhering to environmental management systems and company policies

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • GCE 'O' Level or NITEC in Chemical Process Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory work and equipment operation
  • Preferably 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role
