Technical Support Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring seamless IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Respond to technical support inquiries from vessels regarding computer, network, application, and connectivity issues.
- Network Infrastructure: Set up and install computers, network infrastructure (up to L2), and software on shore for vessels.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the support team to resolve cases remotely as needed.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network, hardware, and software issues.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventories of hardware and software.
- Additional Duties: Assist with warehouse operations related to pickups, deliveries, and packing. Provide IT briefings to office personnel as required. Perform other IT tasks as assigned by the IT Manager.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Diploma holder in Information Technology, Information Systems or related fields.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a technical support role.
- Skills: Proficient in L1 networking, Windows OS and MS Office, WiFi networking, network infrastructure, firewall, VLANs, routing.
- Personal Qualities: Able to work independently and responsible in preparing proper documentation for work completion. Keen learner.
What We Offer:
- Salary: SGD 40,000 - 60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
