Job Title: Head of Institutional Macro Sales for Asia Ex-Japan

About the Role
The Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation seeks a seasoned professional to lead its institutional macro sales efforts in the Asia Ex-Japan region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales of macro cross-asset products to institutional investor clients, leveraging your expertise in interest rates and FX markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the institutional macro business, focusing on FX and rates products
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives at central banks, sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, hedge funds, and private wealth clients
- Collaborate with market making traders to design and execute trade ideas that meet client needs
- Work closely with structurers and relationship managers to develop bespoke solutions for institutional clients
- Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion of existing relationships

Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in sales and trading, with a strong track record in flow and structured interest rates and FX products
- Proven ability to build and maintain senior-level relationships with institutional clients
- Excellent leadership skills, with experience in managing high-performing teams
- Strong market knowledge, with the ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders

The successful candidate will have access to a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $250,000 per annum, with uncapped bonuses based on individual performance and overall team targets.
