We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to clients via telephone, email, and other communication channels.
Job DescriptionThe Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for:
- Fielding all incoming help requests from clients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Documenting all pertinent end-user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue.
- Updating own availability in the system to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Recording, tracking, and documenting all queries received, problem-solving steps taken, and total successful and unsuccessful resolutions.
- Following standard processes and procedures to resolve client queries.
- Resolving client queries as per the SLA's defined in the contract.
- Accessing and maintaining internal knowledge bases, resources, and frequently asked questions to aid in and provide effective problem resolution to clients.
To be successful as a Technical Support Specialist, you must have:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, hardware, and information technology.
- Experience with telephony, compliance, TSM, networking, and virtualization.
