Research Scientist Position

We are seeking an accomplished Research Fellow to innovate hybridized composite materials and thin film coatings. The selected candidate will be responsible for simulating, designing, fabricating, and characterizing plasma process equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Familiar with COMSOL software to simulate the influence of magnetic field on plasma flow.
  • Conducts various design simulations to refine processes.
  • Optimize vacuum coating processes, and leading R&D efforts in material science for application development.
  • Drives the development and implementation of coating techniques.
  • Oversee the transition from experimental designs to scalable solutions.
  • Preparation and delivery of comprehensive reports to satisfy funding stipulations.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or science discipline is required.
  • At least 2 years of combined postdoctoral experience in industry or a recognized research institute.
  • Expertise in plasma physics, plasma source design, plasma control system design, and strong track record of research publications and patent filings.
  • Effective collaboration skills in multidisciplinary settings.
