About This Role

Our team is seeking an Application Engineer to provide technical support and drive business development. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for understanding customer requirements and rapidly demonstrating how composite-based solutions can meet their needs.

This position involves working closely with our engineering, sales, and operations staff to develop design details for sales teams and customers. You will also create product technical engineering information, including 3D representations of finished goods and tooling, and prepare cost estimates based on blueprints and customer documents.

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's Degree in Process & Instrumentation Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, with at least one year of relevant experience. Knowledge of PLC programming, PCVue, or ICONICS software is highly desirable. Additionally, transportation composite or other composite experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers by responding to requests for detailed analysis and providing proposals with costing, timing, and resources included.
  • Work with engineering, sales, and ops staff to understand standard component fabrication techniques, standard composite materials, and current customer demands to formulate design details.
  • Create product technical engineering information, including presentations on customer proposals and cost estimates based on blueprints and customer documents.
