The role of Application Engineer (Data Center Project) involves working closely with our sales and engineering teams to understand customer requirements and develop innovative composite-based solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing detailed analysis of building management systems, scheduling creation, tooling costing, and submitting design and process improvements to meet customer product needs.
  • Working with our engineering, sales, and operations staff to understand standard component fabrication techniques, composite materials, and current customer demands to formulate design details for our sales staff and customers.

You will also be responsible for creating presentations on customer proposals, including 3D representations of finished goods and tooling, as well as preparing cost estimates by studying blueprints and consulting with engineers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to conceptualize composite components and assemblies to support proposals, generate solid and surface CAD models, and compose detailed bills of materials for proposals.

We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in Process & Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and at least one year of relevant working experience.

Prior experience in PLC programming, preferably with PCVue or ICONICS software, is highly desirable. Transportation composite or other composite experience is also an advantage.
