**Job Description**:
We are a technology company focusing on developing and manufacturing a range of light electric vehicles, from two-wheeler (bikes, scooters, motorcycles) to 4-wheels low-speed vehicles (LSVs).

You will be a core member of the R&D team working on our new products. You will be joining our new facility in Singapore and your role in the team will focus on the following:
Senior composite mold maker / CFPR prototyping / Manufacturing Lead

**Responsibilities**:

- Designing and developing complex molds for building carbon-fiber motorcycle frames and swingarms and other structural parts with metal inserts.
- Designing and developing complex molds for carbon fiber composite components for building Class A carbon-fiber motorcycle fairings.
- building complex CFRP molds for prototyping and small batch production of high-end composite parts with metal inserts for motorcycles: frames, fairings, and other structural parts using carbon fiber AOA pre-preg materials for molds building
- Designing self-heating molds and installing heating elements of the molds: induction heating and heat blankets for AOA pre-pregs curing.
- Manual sanding and polishing of composite molds that can achieve class A carbon fiber finish surface for motorcycle frames and fairings.
- Prototyping of carbon composite parts using wet layout, vacuum infusion, or prepreg layup work; found and honeycomb cores, trimming of sides and holes; manual wet sanding from 100 to 2000 sandpaper, painting and polishing up to Class A surface.
- Training and supervising composites technicians in the R&D department
- Designing workflows and operations for mass production of composite parts.
- Training and supervising workers for the mass production of composite parts on how to use the molds properly without damaging the surface polish
- Responsible for developing and implementing the quality check process and procedures.
- collaborating and helping other members of the R&D, collaborating with other departments
- Other ad-hoc-related or unrelated R&D and prototyping work

**Requirements**:

- At least 10 years of experience with prototyping and building molds and high-end structural carbon fiber composite parts with metal inserts for the automotive, aerospace, yachting, or watersports industry.
- Able to complete a project, from the ideation and prototyping stage to mold making and up to the first batch of prototype components by yourself, without any external help
- Able to build models (plugs) from clay or foam-filled cardboard structure.
- Expert understanding of the main carbon composite manufacturing processes, technologies and techniques, and materials for molds building and parts mass-production, including foams and honeycomb core materials.
- Able to use Solid Works or other CAD software for designing molds and tooling
- Able to find technical solutions and workarounds to achieve faster times for carbon fiber parts mass production and continuous improvement of productivity
- Able to work in a demanding and fast-paced startup environment, with short deadlines
- Able to self-manage your activity and lead your team
