Operational Risk Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and enhancing the Branch Operational Risk Management framework policies and procedures.

  • Develop and maintain operational risk management frameworks and policies
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate new product approvals and ensure compliance with risk management policies
  • Manage business continuity planning and crisis management initiatives
  • Identify and report on fraud risks and perform outsourcing risk assessments
  • Develop and deliver training programs to promote a culture of risk awareness
  • Provide support for regulatory and internal audits

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Business or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
  • Strong knowledge of local rules and regulations
  • Good interpersonal skills to handle stakeholders across multiple departments
