Operational Risk Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Risk Specialist to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying and assessing operational risks, as well as developing strategies to mitigate them.

This is an exciting opportunity for a risk management professional who can work collaboratively with various teams, including operations, product development, and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Risk Identification and Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential operational risks and their impact on the business.
  • Risk Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate identified risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that risk management practices are integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and report on risk management activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Risk Management Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in operational risk management, with a strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements, including compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex risk management information to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
