Job Overview: "> Operational Risk Specialist

This role is responsible for developing and implementing Branch Operational Risk Management framework policies and procedures.

  • Develop, implement and enhance Branch Operational Risk Management framework policies and procedures.
  • Perform Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Key Risk Indicators (KRI) reporting, risk event management and other operational risk tools and methodologies.
  • Coordinate the development and enhancement of new product approval policy and process.
  • Coordinate Business Continuity Management framework including Business Impact Analysis (BIA), recovery strategies, testing and related Crisis Management support.
  • Monitor and report on Fraud Risk Management.
  • Conduct Outsourcing Risk Assessment.
  • Develop and deliver training programmes to promote a culture of risk awareness.
  • Manage the risk assessment process to identify control weaknesses.
  • Conduct annual system access reviews.
  • Support the Outsourcing Committee and lead outsourcing issues.
  • Prepare information for various reporting as required.
  • Assist with regulatory, internal and external audit questions/requests where applicable.

Requirements:

  • Recognised bachelor degree or above , preferably in a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of local rules and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to handle stakeholders across multiple departments.
