Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payment Systems Lead to join our team. As a Payment Systems Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing system projects within our Global Transaction Banking division. This includes managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Execution
  • Lead and manage payment system projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, compliance, and business units, to ensure seamless project execution.
  1. Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, product, sales, operations, risks and compliance, to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with business needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for project initiatives.
  • Gather and document project requirements from stakeholders, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding.
  1. Process Improvement
  • Assess and enhance existing project management practices, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices in project management, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies, as appropriate for the organization.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  1. Compliance and Risk Management
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Ensure all projects comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  1. Budget Management
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Prepare financial reports and forecasts for project expenditures.
  1. Quality Assurance
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement best practices in project management and continuously seek opportunities for process improvement.
  1. Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting notes, and lessons learned.
  • Prepare and present project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
  1. Training and Support
  • Provide training and support to team members and end-users on new payment systems and processes.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure smooth transitions during project handovers.
