Job Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Freight Business Developer to establish new accounts and develop our freight forwarding business in Singapore.

  • You will be responsible for developing sales strategies to identify new freight forwarding business opportunities and build client relationships.
  • Create 6-12 month sales action plans aligned with our company direction.
  • 100% hunting for new freight forwarding sales.
  • Meet and achieve individual sales target KPIs.
  • Present sales offers to clients, including global and local tenders.
  • Schedule and arrange client meetings as per stipulated sales outreach program.
  • Update CRM records and provide weekly/monthly commercial reporting on all sales and business development activities.
  • Recover payment dues for assigned accounts.
Requirements

Candidates should possess:

  • A diploma or degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding business products, processes, and regulations.
  • Experience in sales and business development, preferably in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Resourceful and result-oriented individuals with strong prioritization skills.
  • Existing business pipelines and connections are advantageous.
  • OOG/Breakbulk project cargo expertise adds value.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility in working with partners from different time zones when required.
