Our client, an established asset management firm in Singapore, requires a Senior Trade Floor / Desktop Support Engineer to support their business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver superior End User Experience in hardware, software, and networking support in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Provide Level 1 to Level 2 desktop infrastructure support to end users / traders.
  • Ensure timely resolution of Bloomberg and Reuters system issues.
  • Address other concerns such as network, connectivity, productivity software, remote access, voice infrastructure, messaging, and more.
  • Handle user questions, complaints, and problems, tracking and measuring their resolution.
  • Offer support on applications / software used by traders.
  • Report and escalate problems in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft Windows desktop environment issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors on projects or complex issues.
  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding processes.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in desktop support (Level 2).
  • At least 5 years of experience in an investment bank or dealing room environment.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Deep knowledge of the Microsoft Windows desktop environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and remote access solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication with business users.
