Job Title: Training Officer

 

Our organization is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Training Officer to join our team.

We are committed to supporting individuals with disabilities in achieving their goals and living independently.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our training officers and psychologists to develop and implement individualized training plans that meet the unique needs of each trainee.

The role involves assisting trainees with daily living skills, such as feeding, grooming, and toileting, as well as planning and coordinating therapeutic and training materials.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with a diverse range of individuals, including trainees, caregivers, and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist trainees with daily living skills, such as feeding, grooming, and toileting
  • Plan and coordinate therapeutic and training materials
  • Work closely with senior training officers and psychologists to develop and implement individualized training plans
  • Provide support and guidance to trainees to help them achieve their goals
Requirements:

 

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualities and qualifications:

  • A minimum of an O-level or A-level certificate, preferably with at least 1-2 years of experience in working with persons with disabilities
  • Relevant experience in the fields of Special Education or Social/Community Services with exposure to youths/adults with disabilities is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience, positivity, and passion for working with adults with disabilities
