Adult Disability Support Professional

Job Description:
As a Training Officer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing individual care plans for clients. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating therapeutic and training activities and events using a proactive, collaborative, creative, and person-centred approach.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to maintain effective and regular communication with parents, family members, or caregivers. Additionally, you should be patient, positive, and passionate about working with adults with disabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 'O' Level/'A' Level/ITE Certification and above from a recognised educational institution
- Relevant experience in the fields of Special Education or Social services is preferred
- Experience in Community Service with exposure to youths/adults with disabilities is an added advantage
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Demonstrate a commitment to and an understanding of social inclusion as well as the values associated with promoting independence

Others:
As a Training Officer, you will be required to maintain client attendance and administrative records, including individual care plans and case conference reports. You will also be responsible for supporting ad-hoc volunteer events/outings on weekends and co-ordinating and participating in case conferences to discuss clients' development and other related matters.
